A bit about the job: As the Regulatory Engagement Manager, you support the Regulatory Engagement team in developing and maintaining a positive and constructive relationship with the UK regulators (PRA, FCA and tPR). Our team coordinates all of Aviva s engagement with its regulators, gaining unique insight into strategic direction and key projects across the organisation. This includes p roviding support for regulatory meetings by briefing senior Aviva stakeholders (typically ExCo and Board-level) on the current regulatory agenda, and attending these meetings to keep a record. We also i dentify and escalate emerging supervisory themes arising through engagement activities. In this role you will be an integral part of the Risk team, engaging across all 3 lines of defence and Aviva business units to coordinate communications with the regulators. You will also i nteract with the Regulatory Policy team on anticipated regulatory policy changes and advise on the regulatory implications of issues and risk events and on the appropriateness of proposed mitigation. Skills and experience we re looking for: Ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior managers and directors. Strong communication skills, e.g. report writing, identifying key information and themes from multiple sources, influencing outcomes. Proven ability to work to tight deadlines, effectively prioritising and managing stakeholders across multiple workstreams. Proactive nature with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Relevant experience in the financial services industry, preferably with insurance and/or regulatory knowledge.
