Our Client is seeking experienced Reinsurance professionals to join them in order to work as part of a dedicated team of Technicians.

This is a role that can be conducted on a hybrid basis.
As a Reinsurance Technician, you will:
- Understand the Client's business, continually working with the Account Executives to fully support any specific client requirements
- Participate in renewal planning, anticipating and preventing possible issues
- Manage and coordinate workflow around renewals for your clients
- Delivery of reliable, high-quality and timely technical and administrative support
- Attend relevant meetings, ensure notes and follow up actions are completed
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with Brokers & Account Executives
- Generate and issue evidence of cover, debit notes and closing instructions
- Produce contractual documentation to a high level and within timescales
- Produce data, statistics, and information packs in support of the placement of a client's programme
- Prepare accurate and timely production of client documentation (Market Reform Contracts, Evidence of Cover, Policies, slips, wordings clauses etc) in accordance with client and market needs.
- Manage and resolve queries from clients and Insurers
Requirements:
- Previous Reinsurance experience within Pro Rata, Binder, Facultative and/or Excess of Loss is advantageous
- Successful management of workload; with an ability to manage expectations
- Significant experience of working in a technical capacity for a Broker is favourable
- Experience of using London Market systems such as ECF and LORS is ideal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge
