R elief Head Chef / Cook - DBS Checked - Medium Sized Educational Facility - Sidmouth Area - £22 per hour - Travel Costs Paid We're looking for an experienced chef to assist us in a 6 week contract (possibly longer or temp to perm). As part of our expanding team we are currently looking for a chef with previous experience of working at educational facilities or schools at Head Chef and/or Catering Management level. You will be required to create menus using largely fresh ingredients to ensure a good variety of home cooked dishes ensuring nutritional value. You will take responsibility for all aspects of running the kitchen including but not limited to, ordering, stock control, food preparation and service, management of kitchen staff and ensuring the kitchen is kept running in a smooth, hygienic fashion and that all hygiene records are kept up to date. Catering for over 150 covers daily you will work Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm or as required.
