Contract Type: Part-Time, 0.8 timetable  

About the Role:

GSL Education is currently looking for an experienced Religious Education Teacher for a School in North Yorkshire, on a part-time timetable. You should be an enthusiastic RE Teacher who has a real passion for teaching and can be innovative and engaging in your teaching style.

A coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in a market town in North Yorkshire. With a history dating back over 400 years, the school combines traditional values with a modern approach to education. It offers a broad curriculum for students aged 11 to 18, emphasizing academic excellence, personal development, and community engagement. As the successful Religious Education Teacher, you will:

• Be a qualified teacher with a PGCE, GTP, BEd, Cert Ed or BA with QTS, and have recent experience of working as a Religious Education Teacher in the UK.
• Be able to teach KS3 and KS4 RE and Citizenship, and KS5 Religion and Philosophy.
• Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high.
• Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example.
• Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with all individuals, including pupils, colleagues and parents and carers.
