Repairs & Maintenance Manager
Location: Cambridgeshire
Hours: 36.5 hours a week, Mon – Fri
Length: 6 months, temporary
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing the operational delivery of a high-quality repairs and maintenance service
Responsible for the operational management of void repairs through a surveyor and contractor, ensuring works are carried out in a timely manner to reduce void loss
Establish effective reporting mechanisms for repairs data to ensure services are be monitored effectively and future demands and impacts can be identified to drive service delivery plans and budget setting
Accountable for ensuring that all policies, processes and working practices are up to date and in line with current legislative and regulatory requirements
Day to day staff management of direct reports across the managed services
Deputise for the Contracts Manager as and when required
Oversee the management of Aids and Adaptation works
To project manage complex repair works from inception to completion
Essential Requirements
You will be degree qualified and hold a professional membership of relevant body e.g Licensing Act 2003
You must have significant experience in delivery of maintenance and small works to industry standards and methodologies
