Repairs Supervisor

Options are working with one of the UK's prominent social housing repairs contractors.
We are looking to onboard a repairs supervisor to join their planned works departments covering properties based in Fareham and Portsmouth.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage a team of repair operatives, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and within designated timeframes.
Coordinate daily repair and maintenance schedules, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and resident needs.
Conduct regular inspections of repair works to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
Liaise with residents, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with completed repair works.
Manage resources effectively, including materials, tools, and equipment, to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Provide training and support to repair operatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Maintain accurate records of all repair activities, including work orders, job completions, and maintenance logs.
Collaborate with other departments and contractors to ensure seamless service delivery and address any issues that may arise.
Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the social housing or maintenance sector.
Strong technical knowledge of building repairs, maintenance practices, and relevant regulations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
Proficiency in using maintenance management software and other relevant tools.
A valid driving license.
