We are looking for an experienced Repairs Supervisor with plumbing background to join our team, overseeing reactive and planned maintenance within the social housing sector. This role involves managing a team of operatives and subcontractors to ensure that all repairs and maintenance work is completed to the highest standards while delivering excellent customer service to residents.

\nKey Responsibilities:\n

• Supervise and coordinate responsive and voids maintenance within tenanted and vacant properties.
\n
• Manage and support a team of operatives, ensuring productivity and high-quality workmanship.
\n
• Conduct property inspections, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and in line with health & safety regulations.
\n
• Work closely with housing officers, contractors, and tenants to resolve repair issues promptly.
\n
• Monitor performance, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met.
\n
• Plan and allocate workloads, ensuring cost-effective and timely completion of jobs.
\n
• Ensure compliance with housing regulations and company policies.
\n
• Maintain records, complete reports, and provide updates to senior management.
\n

\nRequirements:\n

\n
• Proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor within social housing.
\n
• Strong knowledge of housing maintenance, voids, and repairs.
\n
• Trade background preferred (e.g., plumbing, carpentry, electrical, or multi-trade).
\n
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
\n
• Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance.
\n
• Ability to liaise effectively with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders.
\n
