To provide research, knowledge and information support as part of a well-established information team at a global law practice.RESPONSIBILITIESDeal with business and legal research enquiries using a range of business and legal online databases.Liaise with vendors of electronic and print resources and help to test new productsProvide current awareness service and update intranet content Assist with training on online database usage and conduct inductions for new employeesPromote and market the knowledge, research and library servicesSerials management, cataloguing and journal circulationCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSGood knowledge of UK and ideally US law Ideally a Library and Information qualificationLegal and business research experience within a law firm library or similarHighly competent legal and business research skills Knowledge of sources of UK and ideally US legal and business information.Experience of commercial and legal online services Indexing and classifying abilities
