Job Title: Resident Liaison Officer
Division: Repairs and Maintenance/Planned Works
Reports to: Contracts Manager
Main Interfaces: Residents
Salary: £27,000-£31,000

* Excellent Customer service skills with a can-do approach to problem solving is essential
* Experience of working within a customer services environment is essential

* Previous experience of working with Local Authorities or Registered Housing Providers is desirable

Resident Liaison Officer

We are a leading social housing maintenance contractor seeking a motivated Resident Liaison Officer to join our team . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least a years' experience as a Resident Liaison Officer to contribute to our projects and help ensure their success.

Key Responsibilities of the Resident Liaison Officer:

  • Engaging with residents and understand the needs of the community to deliver a personal service
  • \n
  • Provide a friendly courteous service in connection with residents
  • \n
  • Support, communicate and advise the site team
  • \n

  • Comply fully with the Company Code of Conduct, health and safety requirements, legislation, regulations, policies and procedures

  • Undertake resident profiling to identify individual needs and tailor our service
  • \n
  • Implement our Customer Journey process to guide residents to manage expectations, maximise satisfaction and explain works, give notices, write newsletters etc
  • \n
  • Make access arrangements mutually convenient with residents
  • \n
  • Attend evening/weekend appointments where necessary
  • \n
  • Organise community events
  • \n
  • Manage complains/compliments and deal with all feedback. Keep complaints log with remedial actions and report weekly to the client
  • \n
  • Lead aftercare/handover service
  • \n

Requirements of the Resident Liaison Officer:

  • 1+ year of experience as a Resident Liaison Officer (Social Housing).
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills and empathy.
  • \n
