p strong Residential Conveyancer (Full-time and Part-Time) - Bristol /strong /p br Are you the right applicant for this opportunity Find out by reading through the role overview below. br p strong Location: /strong Bristol strong Employment Type: /strong Permanent - Part-Time (Monday to Wednesday, 9:00am to 5:00pm) or Full-time, Monday to Friday (9:00am- 5:00pm) /p p strong Hybrid Working: /strong Available following successful completion of the probationary period. strong Salary: /strong Up to £60,000 /p p strong The Opportunity /strong /p p A well-established legal firm is seeking an experienced strong Residential Conveyancer /strong to join its busy conveyancing team in either a full-time or part-time capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers, and remortgages. /p p This role offers support from a dedicated Paralegal and Legal Secretary and requires an individual who is confident in networking, business development, and maintaining relationships with local estate agents. /p p strong Key Responsibilities /strong /p p strong Fee-Earning Work: /strong /p p Interviewing clients, taking instructions, and maintaining detailed file notes. Reviewing compliance documentation and analysing source of funds evidence in line with AML regulations. Drafting and reviewing contract packages, raising enquiries, and submitting appropriate searches. Preparing title, mortgage, and search reports. Acting for mortgage lenders and managing exchanges of contracts. Ensuring transactions are completed efficiently and within schedule. Providing regular updates to clients regarding progress and costs. Maintaining a strong knowledge of conveyancing law and practice. Drafting and reviewing legal documents and agreements. Participating in marketing and business development activities, including networking and social media engagement. strong Financial & Accounts Management: /strong /p p Preparing bills of costs, completion statements, and managing funds transfers. Obtaining payments on account and requesting client cheques. Managing accounts-related processes, including telegraphic transfers and financial approvals. Ensuring compliance with firm-wide financial policies and procedures. strong The Ideal Candidate /strong /p p The successful candidate will: /p p Be a strong qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer /strong . Have strong previous experience /strong handling residential property transactions, ideally within the strong Bristol property market /strong . Possess a strong Law degree or CILEx Professional Qualification (CPQ) /strong . Be strong IT literate /strong and confident in using legal case management systems. Demonstrate strong high standards of client care /strong , with a professional and personable approach. Have a proactive attitude towards strong marketing and business development /strong , including networking and social media.
