A leading l law firm in the West End of London is seeking a dedicated Residential Conveyancing Solicitor 6+ PQE to join their dynamic Property team. This opportunity is perfect for individuals looking to advance their career while working with new builds and UHNW and HNW individuals, SMEs, and larger corporations.

The Residential Conveyancing Solicitor's role

The successful Residential Conveyancing Solicitor will become a vital member of the Property team, handling a diverse caseload under supervision.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing landlord and tenant work for residential properties, with beneficial commercial experience.
  • Conducting sales and purchases of land, both registered and unregistered, freehold and leasehold.
  • Overseeing plot sales and transfers of equity.
  • Handling remortgages and property finance matters.
  • Managing easements and lease extensions, including statutory lease extensions.
  • Facilitating the purchase of development sites, with some experience in option agreements and conditional contracts.

The Residential Conveyancing Solicitor

  • The ideal Residential Conveyancing Solicitor will possess the following qualifications and experience: A proactive, self-motivated, and reliable individual with over 6+ years of experience in UK private practice.
  • Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing matters and first-rate drafting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong organisational and administration abilities, with effective workload prioritisation.
  • A proactive and growth-oriented mindset towards achieving professional goals.
  • The ability to strengthen and develop internal and external relationships aligned with team strategy.
  • Active engagement in networking opportunities to build team and firm profiles.
  • Effective case management and staying updated with commercial developments to connect with potential clients.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with an ability to quickly learn new systems.
