Role Overview:
As a Residential Property Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a wide variety of residential property transactions, including purchases, sales, remortgages, leasehold matters, and property disputes. You will be dealing directly with clients, providing advice and support throughout the transaction process.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
Providing expert legal advice on all aspects of residential property law
Drafting contracts, leases, and other property-related documentation
Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other third parties to ensure smooth transactions
Advising clients on leasehold matters, including enfranchisement and lease extensions
Managing matters related to residential property disputes
Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction
Key Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years of experience in residential property law
Proven experience in handling a varied caseload of residential property transactions
Excellent communication and client service skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of client care
Knowledge of current property law, including SDLT, and leasehold matters
