Package: from £48,250 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience)

AWE is currently recruiting for a Resource Capability and KIM Profession Specialist for the Information, Configuration & Knowledge Management group.
We are looking for an information specialist who understands the importance of strategically organising, securing and leveraging information to drive decision making, efficiency and innovation in an increasingly complex technological landscape. The role will also focus on supporting KIM Head of Profession activities, so a genuine passion for the Profession and the importance in inspiring others is important. This will include education and training tasks specifically, in line with skill gap analysis and development of learning pathways. A key aspect of the role will be to help build a competent workforce through career development and talent management.
Key Accountabilities:
Strategic assistance - Provide operational and strategic support to the KIM Head of Profession in developing and delivering strategy, policies and frameworks
Stakeholder Engagement - Act as a liaison between the Head of Profession and other teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
Performance Monitoring - Develop, track and report on progress against KIM objectives, providing insights and recommendations to support decision making
Resource Planning - Assist in assessing and optimising the organisation's resource capability to support KIM initiatives
Skills Development - Champion the development of KIM capabilities across the organisation, bringing a passion for professional growth, identifying skills gaps and recommending training or upskilling opportunities
Cultural Change - Be a vocal advocate for fostering a culture that values knowledge sharing, collaboration and continuous learning
Representation - Represent the KIM Head of Profession with pride and professionalism, sharing your passion for advancing the field and demonstrating its impact on organisational success
The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs.

Knowledge & Experience of industry best practice in professions and academia
Strong stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of different training interventions including technology-based learning
You'll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload. You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines.

Hybrid working is available for this role on an informal, non-contractual basis. Typically 2/3 days onsite per week.
