Resourcing and Capability Specialist

We are looking for a Resourcing and Capability Specialist to work as part of the Future Infrastructure Programme (FIP) Business Operations team. Your focus will be on supporting the team with resourcing and capability activities and processes, with the opportunity to get involved with supporting wider team deliverables in engagement, culture change, learning and development and organisational design. This is a great opportunity to join a new team supporting a large-scale portfolio of projects.

Whilst not to be considered a check list, candidates should be able to demonstrate some of the following:

Experience in a people-focused role, ideally one relating to HR or recruitment/talent-acquisition.

Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across all levels.

Experience of people data analysis, reporting and processes .

Experience of talent and performance management and/or learning and development activities.

Experience in helping to deliver surveys and workshops.

Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.

Proactive self-starter with excellent prioritisation and workload management skills.

Experience within a matrix organisation and/or working with delivery partners.

IT skills - including Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities will include:

Proactive support to projects and programmes to ensure recruitment and people capability activities are carried out to plan and in line with functional and project requirements.

Maintain up to date and accurate records of people related data including headcount, organisational structure, supply and demand etc

Proactively enable recruitment and onboarding for all projects, both with AWE staff/contractors and delivery partners/suppliers.

Delivering process improvement across the work package, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, and taking ownership of delivering on agreed outcomes.

Driving internal initiatives (safety, cultural, wellbeing, ED&I, etc) in the programme.

Having input to AWE Engagement Survey activities and actions for FIP.

Supporting external recruitment activities, engagement, and recognition opportunities.

Ensuring systems and processes are in place to capture data, and monitor and evaluate progress across the work package.

Package: from £38,000 and above (depending on your suitability and level of experience)
