⏳ Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday (varied shift pattern based on local rota)
We are excited to be expanding our services in partnership with the NHS to improve access to diagnostic care in the community. As part of this, we are opening a brand-new Community Diagnostic Centre in North Solihull, Birmingham—and we’re looking for Respiratory Physiologists to join our team!
 
Your Role:
As a Respiratory Physiologist, you will be a key member of our diagnostic team, leading respiratory clinics and ensuring patients receive high-quality assessments and care. Your responsibilities will include:
âś… Performing a range of diagnostic tests in line with ARTP guidelines, including spirometry, gas transfer, and static lung volumes.
âś… Assisting with specialist and complex diagnostic assessments.
âś… Producing reports and effectively communicating findings to referring medical teams.
âś… Maintaining and calibrating diagnostic equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
âś… Keeping up to date with industry developments and actively participating in professional societies.
âś… Providing mentoring and support to Trainee Healthcare Scientists.
âś… Line managing junior team members.
 
What We’re Looking For:
âś” BSc in Healthcare Science (Physiological Science) or equivalent with a specialisation in Respiratory and Sleep Science.
âś” ARTP Professional Qualifications and current registration with RCCP or AHCS.
âś” Commitment to Continuing Professional Development.
âś” A passion for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
