We are proud to be partnering with a Housing Association in the East Midlands who are looking to appoint a Responsive Repairs Technical Officer.This will be a full-time position with an hourly rate of up to £37 per hour on a CIS basis.The ideal candidate must have trade construction knowledge (plumbing, carpentry and electrical), social housing experience and hold a full UK Driving License.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Working within the complex works team within a Housing AssociationSupporting the existing repairs team leaders by managing workloads referred back from in-house operativesActing as the first point of contact for trade referralsCompleting Damp and Mould inspections on tenanted propertiesCompleting post inspections of properties following responsive repair worksShadowing and growing senior trade operatives and helping to develop and grow these rolesAttending site visits, completing work assessments and raising work for and overseeing contractors on siteManaging and resolving complaints occurring from repairs works completedExperience required:Experience required in Social HousingExperience working with customers within housingExperience working with damp and mouldSkills, knowledge and expertise required:Risk assessment and managementCompliance and due diligenceWorking hours:37 hours per weekMonday – Friday, 8am-4pmPlease note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
