As Assistant Manager you will:

  • Recruit and training of FOH staff
  • Coach and manage the staff as required
  • Record staff hours and prepare for payroll submission
  • Plan and prepare rotas and holiday cover
  • Place all orders to do with FOH (e.g. wine cleaning materials crockery etc.)
  • Take bookings and organise table plans
  • Run and oversee services
  • Handle any customer complaints or issues during service
  • Liaise and work with the kitchen regarding parties, spec
  • Cash up at the end of each service
  • Weekly banking and the division of tips
  • Overseeing emails and basic paperwork involved with cashing up and monitoring stock

The Assistant Manager will have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience working in the hospitality industry with a focus on restaurants
  • Ability to liaise at all levels and ensure a smooth and efficient service
  • High levels of customer service

You will be expected to work 6 shifts per week, made up of a mixture of day and evening shifts, where a day starts at about 10 am until 5 pm and an evening shift from 4 pm until close, between 10.30 and 12.
