Restaurant Supervisor / Junior Assistant Manager - Broadstairs - Circa £38k

Intimate, upscale 70 cover restaurant now requires a Restaurant Supervisor / Junior Assistant Manager as it looks to fire the business forward into 2025. The business comprises a very smart dining room, full of character - offering an excellent standard of food & service. This is a stunning building in a beautiful, high end location serving a brilliant, loyal local clientele many of whom use the restaurant on a regular basis.

Our client is looking for a strong Supervisor / Junior Assistant Manager with experience of leading a similar business & a track record of maintaining high standards & driving guest service. This will be a hands on Restaurant Supervisor role - leading a team from the front & would suit someone who wants to break free from their current company constraints & shoot the lights out with their next move.

The client is looking to lock someone in for the long term with this appointment & is offering up to £38k base salary & a guarantee they will give the incoming Supervisor / Junior Assistant Manager all the support they need in leading the FOH operation.

The client is open to candidates from high quality restaurant or hotel restaurant backgrounds but you must have been working at Restaurant Supervisor / Junior Assistant Manager level for a minimum of 2 years.

This is a Restaurant Supervisor role that isn't going to be for everyone. It's aimed at Restaurant Supervisors who are growing tired of the thankless corporate contingency and all of the daily tick box exercises and the paperwork that goes with it - or Restaurant Supervisors at that 'sweet spot' in their career who think their only two options are to either get a move managing a larger team & push for an Assistant Manager role within 6 - 12 months or set up on their own. It's for Restaurant Supervisors who know that there is a lot more to running a restaurant business than just running shifts. It's for Restaurant Supervisors who want the term "my guests" to actually mean something. Perhaps most importantly it's for Restaurant Supervisors in companies who don't want to lose the fire in their belly simply because their current company has got nothing better to offer them.
