Restructuring Advisory ManagerWe are searching for an experienced Restructuring Advisory ManagerOverallPurpose:Anexciting opportunity has arisen in our Restructuring Advisory team in London. You willhave the opportunity to develop a breadth of commercial skills and experienceacross advisory and formal insolvency assignments within the team. Theprimary focus of the role is based in London, however we operate a nationaladvisory practice so the successful candidate may be required to travelanywhere in the UK to undertake assignments. The role will involve attendingmarketing events and working with the Partners and Directors to help them withtheir marketing and business objectives. The position encourages growth andcareer development, with a clear path of progression. Responsibilities:Our new colleaguewill be responsible for the following (but not limited to):Completeassignments in accordance with the Firm’s standard Advisory procedures andwhere relevant statutory obligations, and to confirm arrangements with theclient, company, or appointer, including likely costs and billingarrangements.Work closelyalongside other Restructuring Advisory staff to plan and execute insolvencyassignments, and manage appropriate insolvency cases as required, inaccordance with the Firm’s standard procedures and relevant statutory andregulatory obligations. Guidance will be provided throughout but this mayinvolve some of the following:Assisting andsupporting the Restructuring Advisory Core team and providing trainingand support to colleagues within the team.Preparing andseeking approval of engagement letters and ancillary documents.Completion ofKPI’s for Partner / Director approval.Ensuringassigned diary lines are completed in accordance with RA Core compliancestandards.Reviewingdocuments and approval of manager approval of payments across IPS andVirtual Cabinet.General caseadministration including raising bills.Understandingthe challenges currently being faced by the client and developingsolutions alongside the Partner/Director and other Restructuring Advisorystaff.Implementingsolutions through insolvency procedures as appropriate, with a focus onAdministrations, Company Voluntary Arrangements and Fixed ChargeReceiverships (Property).Attendance atinitial meetings on site with the client and other Restructuring Advisorystaff.Analysing andchallenging information received from the client, or checking back tosource documentation.Implementingthose solutions, which may involve for example sale of business tasks e.g.accelerated merger and acquisition processes, drafting sale documentation/preparing lists of interested parties/ liaison with agents / provision of informationto interested parties etc, bilateral creditor negotiations, debtrestructuring.Managing thetrading of insolvent businesses.Takingresponsibility for asset realisations such as asset disposals and debtrecovery.Preparation ofreports for secured creditors.Contributing to the team’sdevelopment through significant/extensive networking and technical skills.Personal and professional qualities:Our new colleague will be ACCA / ACA (or equivalent) qualifiedwith previous experience in a similar role and be able to perform a lead rolein both advisory and insolvency assignments. We require an individual with verygood quality technical, analytical, and report writing abilities as well asstrong interpersonal skills. To be successful in this position you will alsoneed to have:Experience inbuilding and managing stakeholder relationships with both internalcolleagues and external clients.Provenexperience of either preparation of financial information or the abilityto analyse the information. Experience inRestructuring Advisory or in a similar roleStrongorganisational and time management skills and able to demonstrate a strongcommercial outlook.Excellentcommunication skills both written and verbal.Commitment tohigh quality delivery within agreed timeframes.JIEB qualified would be anadvantage.#L-RP1#LI-RP1Experienced hirePermanentLONDONRestructuring Advisory16/10/2023
