Whats the Job?
Job Title: RetailMaintenance Assistant
Salary: £14,833.58 pro-rata (£25,429 per annum FTE)
Employment Terms: Permanent, 21 hours per week, Monday Sunday based on a 7-day rota
Location: Mobile across South East London
You will be attending to a variety of maintenance requirements across a portfolio of retail locations. Youll then either act on minor works, report on works required, or liaise with contractors to resolve the issues.
Youll have an excellent understanding of compliance matters around H&S and building work and will actively work to meet standards in all areas. Youll handle some administrative work in maintaining checks and records.
Youll report into a Portfolio Manager and complete ad hoc work as requested. Youll also be proactive in identifying issues and supporting the retail trading team in their mission.
Who are we Looking For?
Youll have great multi-trade experience and be skilled at using tools to address a broad variety of maintenance needs
Youll have good experience attending to maintenance and repair work across a portfolio of properties
Youll have good awareness of required checks and compliance matters, including risk assessments, EICR, legionellas, and more
Youll be a people person happy to work alongside store teams and contractors in a customer facing environment
Youll have basic IT skills and good administrative ability in order to document routine works, checks, and compliance matters
Full driving licence including vans and willingness to travel across South East London is essential
