Our mission is to help clients to realise the value of their ideas in a digital age.The Team The successful candidate will be joining a talented and experienced department, made up of several Revenue Controllers working alongside the Billing team. The Revenue function sits within a larger Finance Team - all of which report directly to the Revenue Manager. This is a busy and varied role, where the Revenue Controller will be responsible for WIP management and Credit Control for specific practice groups.A sample of your day to day tasks include: Meeting with partners to ensure all time is recorded promptly and accurately, in accordance with our time recording policyArranging and attending weekly/monthly meetings with Partners to review WIP and Unpaid Invoices, agree course of action and follow up accordinglyLiaising with Partners, PAs and Billing team in ensuring prebills are prepared within strict SLA timelines, and final invoices produced by the Billing team are despatched promptlyTake responsibility for billing against budgets and targetsUpdating ARCS daily for actions and notes on Unbilled WIP (creating a billing pipeline report) and Unpaid Invoices (creating a cash collection forecast)Would you be suitable for our role?We seek an experienced and credible Revenue Controller working in a law firm or professional services environment, with exposure to billing, VAT, disbursements and credit control, that can hit the ground running in a target driven environmentA key aspect of the role is establishing relationships with fee earners in order to gain knowledge about their practice, clients and matters, thus enabling a proactive approach to managing the full working capital cycle of Time Recording, WIP, Billing through to CashKnowledge of ARCS and Aderant advantageous but not essentialWiggin prides itself on acting for industry leaders across its sectors of focus while maintaining a unique culture which seeks to provide its employees with a truly enjoyable and rewarding working environment.
