Revenues Officer Sundry Invoices

Service Care Solutions are working alongside a Local Authority in Conwy who are looking for an experienced�Revenues Officer to join their reputable team on a temporary contract. Please find a description of the role below.
Role: Revenues Officer (Sundry Invoices)
Rate: �15.80 - �17.55 (umbrella/ltd.)
Contract: 3 months on going.
Working: Hybrid.
Start date: ASAP
Location: Conwy
Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of debt recovery processes and financial systems.
• Sundry Invoice Management: Assist in developing, maintaining, and controlling the Sundry Invoice process and related records.
• Debt Recovery: Maximise�debt collection, arrange payment plans, and assess debtor circumstances. Handle sensitive and complex cases independently when required.
• Customer Enquiries: Respond to inquiries from customers, third parties (e.g., Citizens Advice, courts), and provide explanations in line with financial regulations and data protection laws.
• Internal Liaison: Collaborate with departments to support debt recovery and advise on financial impacts.
• Payment Processing: Accept and process payments using relevant systems.
• Court & Enforcement: Represent the council in County Court and liaise with High Court Enforcement Firms for debt recovery.
• System Support: Assist with importing income data into the Cash Management System.
• Staff Training: Support training on the Sundry Debtor System and financial regulations.
• Meetings & Reporting: Contribute to meetings, prepare reports, and assist in project development.
• Compliance & Representation: Ensure compliance with the Welsh Language Act and Data Protection Act. Represent the council in relevant forums.
