RF IC Design Engineer

Prime Appointments currently have an amazing opportunity for a RF IC Design Engineer to join a reputable electronics manufacturer based in Maldon, Essex. This company is looking for an individual who has the ability to work independently but also get stuck in with a team environment.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, as a RF IC Design Engineer you will be required to:

• Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers, facilitating their professional development
• You will be working with a large range of technologies - This includes SiGe and CMO
• You will need to use designing blocks like Mixers, divider circuits, bias circuits, LNAs etc.
• As well as provide in-depth design documentation of all blocks developed

Qualifications required:

• Experience with Cadence Virtuoso tools and version control
• A background in manufacturing design
• Silicon experience of SiGe Bipolar and CMOS technologies
• 1-5 years' experience of IC design experience
• Working knowledge of IC layout techniques in a Cadence Virtuoso environment
