A RF Test Engineer is sought for a world renowned and respected high-tech manufacturer based in Bristol. The company is going through an exciting period of expansion and success and is offering an exciting opportunity to the successful candidate.

This role covers a broad range of tasks associated with RF test procedures and design. The successful candidate will be practical, hands on and a leader in engineering, a real expert in their field.

The Role:

• First call for diagnosis and fault finding for production and field RF and test procedures.


• Lead, train and certify a team of test engineers.


• Provide information and definition for test document authors.


• Production and commissioning of ATE (Automatic Test Equipment)


• Liaise with NPI teams to test new components.


• Provide consultation and advise on RF design to engineering and project teams.

The Person:

• HNC, Degree or equivalent in electronic engineering


• Exceptional electronics knowledge


• High level of high frequency RF matching & signal processing


• Programming/software experience preferred


• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly


• Leadership skills and team management
