AsRisk and Audit Manager, that involves:n Overall responsibility forleading the design, and implementation of a new Risk ManagementFramework for SEPA so that we can understand and plan for the internalor external events that may prevent us from achieving our strategicpriorities.n Provide strategic engagement and advice on riskmanagement to equip SEPA to deliver our strategic priorities and beconsistent with the requirements as set out in the Scottish PublicFinance Manual (SPFM), and other leading practice.n Oversee themanagement of the requirements to establish and maintain our InternalAudit standards and processes.n Lead and coordinate SEPA s riskmanagement approach, framework, internal audit processes, policies andtraining.n Identification of domestic and global risks.n Respect foryour expertise nThis is a highly important role within our Governance,Performance & Engagement portfolio. The post will lead the review,design and implement SEPA s new Risk Management Framework, which meansyou ll need:n Strong project management and change management skillswith experience in influencing internal and external stakeholders.n Ability to analyse and communicate complex data, you will report onrisk and internal audit matters to Executive Leadership Teams, Auditand Risk Committee, Board and Scottish Government.n Ability tomotivate and lead an effective team to ensure support is provided tocolleagues across the Agency with regards to the Risk ManagementFramework and Internal Audit.n Ability to navigate your way throughcomplex legislation and regulatory requirements.n A passion forStakeholder relations. You will engage at company and industry sectorlevel with a natural flair for influencing, brokering and negotiatingwith third parties.
