Risk and Compliance Manager

A forward-thinking, ambitious, well-respected regional law firm is looking for a Risk and Compliance Manager to join them in South East London. Within this role, you will be leading a small team of risk and compliance professionals in their day-to-day tasks. You will collaborate on a variety of risk and compliance tasks, such as AML, complaints and claims.Prior experience within a legal compliance environment is vital, specifically within a risk and compliance/AML role working within a law firm. Equally, experience managing risk and compliance processes, coupled with familiarity with SRA and statutory requirements would be desirable for this role.Some responsibilities:Offer guidance on compliance regarding policies and proceduresLead core compliance functionsAid in the development of AML policies, systems and proceduresMonitor departmental risks and escalate where neededAssist with potential compliance breachesOversee professional negligence mattersRenew practising certificates and accreditationLiaise with Senior members of staff to address GDPR concerns (data protection, conflicts of interest, data deletion, etc)Complete and assess auditsMaintain policies and procedures in adherence to terms of businessThe ideal candidate is a personable, detail-oriented, collaborative worker with excellent IT, analytical and organisational skills.If interested, please submit your CV for consideration.
