We are thrilled to present a rare opportunity for an experienced Risk & Compliance Lawyer to join a market-leading team within a top-tier law firm.Exciting Opportunity – Risk & Compliance Lawyer – UK Wide (Remote)The RoleThis role will see you play a crucial part in delivering the firm's Risk & Compliance (R&C) strategy across its UK offices.Working closely with the Risk & Compliance Manager and team, you will help to identify and manage the firm’s regulatory compliance and professional risks. You will also be instrumental in embedding R&C into the firm’s processes and ensuring the business stays ahead of regulatory and legislative changes.The Responsibilities:Provide expert legal advice on regulatory compliance and professional risks, with a focus on the SRA Handbook, GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, and other relevant legislation.Collaborate with various teams across the firm to integrate R&C principles into business processes.Analyse and assess the impact of regulatory and legislative changes on the firm.Assist in developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures.Support the wider business in regulatory matters, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.Engage with stakeholders across multiple offices through a predominantly virtual working environment, with occasional in-person collaboration.Experience Required:Qualified solicitor or legal professional with significant experience in Risk & Compliance.Detailed understanding of the regulatory framework, including the SRA Handbook and GDPR.Proven ability to manage regulatory compliance within a legal environment.Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex legal and regulatory changes.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.The Benefits & How to Apply:Salary Up To £80,000 depending on expereinceFull-time, permanent position with remote working arrangements to support work-life balanceGenerous group pension schemeOpportunities to reduce carbon footprint through remote work and sustainable practicesComprehensive benefits package including private health insurance, gym membership, and enhanced parental leave policiesThis is a unique chance to join a prestigious firm committed to making a social and environmental impact.
