Risk Compliance Officer

We're currently partnered with a large, international bank, who are looking for a Risk Officer to become a key member of the Compliance function, serving as a Risk Generalist with a primary focus on identifying, assessing, and managing investment and company-wide risks. The role supports Compliance and senior leadership in promoting a proactive risk culture across the organization. Responsibilities include monitoring, reporting, and providing insights on risk exposures related to investment activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop portfolio analytics and perform scenario analyses. Monitor and report on portfolio risks, including liquidity risks. Present insights to the Investment Risk Committee (IRC) and ensure compliance with investment guidelines. Oversee best execution and share risk analyses with relevant teams. Conduct risk assessments, operational resilience reviews, and ICARA processes. Report on risk activities to senior management and Head Office. IT Risk & Vendor Management (Desirable) Perform IT and vendor risk assessment Qualifications & Skills: Degree in mathematics, finance, or economics. Professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA) preferred. Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments (especially fixed income), and risk management. Proficiency in advanced Excel and investment systems (e.g., Bloomberg). Awareness of regulatory standards (AIFMD/UCITS). Analytical mindset with excellent communication and organizational skills. Proactive and adaptable, with a focus on continuous learning and operational efficiency. What's on Offer: Salary in the region of £90,000 - £110,000 Hybrid working arrangment in Central London
