Road Freight Coordinator

Are you an experienced Freight Coordinator looking for an exciting opportunity in Leeds? Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team and manage the movement of freight from origin to destination, both internationally and nationally. This role offers a competitive salary of �28,000 - �33,000 per annum and requires working Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00.

As a Freight Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

• �Coordinate the movement of freight from origin to destination, covering both international and national routes.


• Manage European Groupage Services to ensure efficient and timely delivery of shipments.


• �Provide customers with regular updates on the progress of their shipments.


• Work closely with customers, overseas partners, and suppliers to coordinate and manage shipments.


• �Use the freight management system to input jobs and perform related administrative tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping.


• Exhibit excellent customer service skills, addressing and resolving customer inquiries and issues promptly.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in freight coordination, including international and national movements, familiarity with European Groupage Services, and proficiency in using freight management systems. Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills are essential.
