About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Road Freight Manager to join our team in Leicester. This is a key role responsible for overseeing the road freight operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimise road freight operations, including route planning, carrier selection, and cost control.
• Lead and develop a team of road freight specialists.
• Maintain and build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and carriers.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in road freight management or logistics.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance standards.
• Ability to manage budgets and drive cost-effective solutions.
