Road Freight Trainee

A client of ours in the Basildon area are recruiting a Europrean Road Freight Trainee to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm and paying up to �24,000 per annum depending on experience.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:

• Creating/booking jobs and manifests in the company system
• Invoicing
• Obtaining and preparing documents for the Customs team to process
• Liaising with overseas agents
• Providing excellent customer care ensuring clients needs and expectations are met
• Filing
• General office duties

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Road Freight Trainee position:

• 1+ year office, admin and secretarial experience
• Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
• GCSE grade 4/5 (C) or above in Maths and English
• Confident in dealing with customers/clients
• High attention to detail
