Roller Driver

Brownlee Cale are hiring for Roller Drivers for groundwork on a highways project in Gloucester for a Civil Engineering firm. The role is due to start in 2-3 weeks. 

Essential Requirements:

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Ride on Road Roller (essential).


• Proven experience operating Road Rollers' on highways or civil engineering projects


• Experience with groundworks such as trenching, drainage, and site preparation, particularly on highways projects.


• Knowledge and understanding of site safety and operational procedures in a construction environment.


• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions accurately.


• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks associated with groundworks and excavation.


• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with site supervisors and other team members.

Desirable Skills:

• Additional construction tickets or qualifications (e.g., CSCS, First Aid).


• Experience with highways-related machinery and tasks, such as road preparation, drainage installation, and traffic management


• Knowledge of machinery maintenance, fault identification, and troubleshooting.
