We are currently working on behalf of a public sector client to recruit to a Roofers Mate on a temporary to permanent basis.

Responsibilities of the Roofers Mate includes:

• Carrying out all aspects of labouring and semi-skilled activities surrounding roofing, and other trades when required
• Assisting with aspects of roofing work including general repairs, maintenance and refurbishment
• Working on large scale pitched roofs, flat roofs and chimney stack demolitions
• Assisting with gutter and soffit works when required
• Ensuring adherence to health and safety
• Booking in follow up works
• Ordering appropriate materials
• Utilising a PDA

Requirements of the Roofers Mate includes:

• CSCS Card
• Previous experience as a roofers mate (desirable)
• Knowledge and experience of working at heights (essential)
