This role is for a week's work on a space utilisation audit at the university.
Part time is either mornings 9am to 2pm (25 hours) or afternoons Mon/Tues/Thurs 2pm - 6pm and Weds/Fri - 2pm to 5pm (18 hours) at Lansdowne Campus
or 9am to 2pm (25 hours) or afternoons Mon/Tues/Thurs 2pm - 7pm and Weds/Fri 2pm - 6pm (23 hours) - Talbot Campus
There is a possibility that this role can be done full time too for a couple of candidates.
On an hourly basis, Auditors are required to walk round a pre-determined route, recording the number of occupants in each room, using a hardcopy form and clipboard. This information is extremely valuable to the University and is used to produce reports that are presented to high level management teams. It is CRITICALLY IMPORTANT that this data is gathered for the whole period of work, so there are no gaps in the data gathered.
There is a considerable amount of walking (around and between buildings) involved in this duty, throughout the day. It is important for the persons to be excellent timekeepers and to be able to manage the workload without supervision. The survey of the rooms must happen hourly, and normally takes a maximum of 40 minutes per hour. Dress is smart casual, with comfortable footwear. You do get a break between each audit walk and if doing a full day, you will get a lunch break.
The audit is to be carried out w/c 10th March for the week.
�14.49 an hour.
