Job Title: RTR Finance Manager

Location: Salford, Manchester

Remuneration: �50,000 - �55,000 per annum (part-time)

Contract Details: Permanent, 1 day in the office per week (Hybrid working)

Our client, a leading Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC) based in Salford Quays, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated RTR Finance Manager to join their team.

As the RTR Finance Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Department and be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality financial and management reporting. This includes ensuring the finance function operates in a robust control environment, managing areas such as Financial Accounting, Financial Systems, and Master Data. You will also be responsible for leading a team of 6 direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day general accounting services to meet business needs
  • Prepare timely completion of management and operational reports, providing insightful commentary to support decision-making
  • Lead the accurate and timely preparation of management accounts, with a strong focus on driving efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Troubleshoot daily operational issues and work closely with stakeholders
  • Manage and develop a team of finance staff, including their induction, training, professional development, and performance appraisal
  • Oversee the finance element of the annual audit process, ensuring compliance and timely completion

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in managing a general accounting team and delivering process improvements
  • Degree in finance or accounting, with relevant professional qualifications or qualified by experience
  • Strong knowledge of current regulations including IFRS, UK GAAP, and Companies Acts
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP software, preferably Oracle
