An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Rural Surveyor to join the rural department of a leading firm of surveyors and property advisers. Ideally, the candidate will have 2 years of (PQE).
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering expert advice and support to a variety of clients including farmers, landowners, and rural businesses.
You will be responsible for:
Managing rural professional work, including valuations, sales, and lettings of rural properties.
Attending client meetings on-site and off-site, providing strategic advice, and preparing necessary documentation.
Negotiating sales and lettings, preparing heads of terms, and liaising with clients’ professional advisors.
Contributing to business development activities, including publications and events, as a key member of the rural team.
Collaborating with colleagues on planning and development advice, as well as rural grants and subsidy schemes.
What we are looking for:
Previously worked as a Rural Surveyor or in a similar role.
Ideally have 2 years' PQE and CAAV qualification or working towards it.
Strong knowledge of the local area and rural property market.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Must have a car insured for business use.
