Rust Engineer

Posted 2 months ago

An EnergyTech / TechForGood start-up are looking for an experienced Rust Engineer to join their team. After securing significant investment, they're looking to scale up their engineering team.
The business pivoted a few years back and have had substantial traction over the last few months, with some big contracts in the pipeline as well.
In an ideal world, you'll be an experienced Rust Engineer that has some experience working with DLMS as well. They'd need you to have proven commercial experience with Rust rather than just someone that has played around with it in their own projects. If you don't have any experience with DLMS, you would need to upskill once you join.
As they're a start-up, ideally, they'll look for someone that has experience working in a start-up environment, but this also isn't essential.
After this hire, they have more plans to grow the engineering and wider product team, so it's an opportunity to get in at a really exciting time for the company.
The company are based in the UK, but they can offer fully remote working with this role and are open to hiring people remote across Europe as well. They do ask that someone will work GMT hours +/- 3. In terms of salary, they're quite flexible but have an initial budget of up to £90k, with potential to go higher.
If you're an experienced Rust Engineer that wants to work for a company that is doing some really inspirational work, then please apply and/or contact Jack Steven at Cathcart Technology.
