Safeguarding Liaison Officer - Empower Vulnerable Adults

Requirements:

• Understanding of Adult Social Care and safeguarding protocols.
• Awareness of the types of abuse vulnerable adults may face and the actions Adults Social Care can take to prevent and address risks.
• NVQ Level 3 or Newly Qualified Social Worker
• Enhanced DBS

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Adult Safeguarding Coordinator to join our busy and dynamic safeguarding team. This role is integral to promoting and upholding safeguarding standards across the organization, ensuring adherence to key legislation, and empowering colleagues to deliver safe, person-centered care.

Newly Qualified Social Workers have worked in this post to gain experience prior to undertaking an ASYE post.

Key Responsibilities:

In addition to the above, you will:

• Provide support to teams undertaking and recording Adult Safeguarding activities.
• Promote compliance with safeguarding legislation and guidance across the organization.
• Oversee and manage the administration of safeguarding cases, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
