Hours of Work: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 5pm)
Salary: �31,128.00 - �37,000.00 per annum
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and organised individual to join our Safeguarding team as a Safeguarding Quality Assurance Coordinator. This is a full-time, remote role where you will be a key player in supporting the safeguarding process and ensuring a high standard of quality assurance in our safeguarding activities.
You will work closely with the Safeguarding Quality Assurance Assessor and Regional Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs), serving as the first point of contact for safeguarding referrals. You will ensure all safeguarding referrals are triaged within specified timeframes, maintain accurate records, and ensure the timely reporting of safeguarding data.
Key Responsibilities:
Safeguarding Support:
Act as the first point of contact (FPOC) for all safeguarding referrals, both internally and externally.
Log all incoming information and actions taken.
Ensure referrals are triaged in line with timeframes (urgent referrals within 4 hours, safeguarding concerns within 24 hours, other referrals within 48 hours).
Consult with DSL and Safeguarding Quality Assurance Assessors when needed.
Assist in recording and documenting meetings related to safeguarding matters.
Forward referrals to the appropriate individual for follow-up action.
Assist with tracking High Profile Notifications (HPNs) and ensure appropriate case signposting.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
Work closely with the Safeguarding team, including your line manager, and collaborate with other team members.
Support colleagues and provide on-the-job training where needed.
Provide cover for other staff as required and assist with other safeguarding-related duties as needed.
Communication & Record Keeping:
Keep up to date with all written and verbal communications (emails, messages, calls).
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with company policies and procedures.
Professional Development:
Monitor your own work levels, progress, and development in the role.
Complete all required learning and development programmes.
Pursue learning opportunities outlined in your Personal Development Plan.
Data Security & Confidentiality:
Ensure that any personal data handled is kept securely and not disclosed to any unauthorised third parties.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other duties within the scope of the role, including supporting local company projects as needed.
