Are you an experienced and dedicated Social Worker ready to make a difference? Northampton Children's Trust is seeking passionate professionals to join their Safeguarding Team, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in the community.
About the Safeguarding Team:
The Safeguarding Team is at the core of protecting vulnerable children and supporting families in challenging circumstances. As a Social Worker, you will:
Assess and manage risks to safeguard children effectively.
Develop and implement care plans in partnership with families and multi-agency partners.
Conduct visits, case reviews, and assessments to ensure children's safety and well-being.
Attend child protection conferences, strategy meetings, and legal proceedings as required.
Maintain accurate, detailed records and reports, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
What You Bring:
To excel in this role, you'll need:
A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Social Worker.
Current registration with Social Care England.
A strong understanding of safeguarding practices, child protection legislation, and risk assessments.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
A commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and families.
