What will you be doing as the newly appointed Safety Engineer?



  • Be the UK Sites representative for Product Safety - this will mean that you will attend frequent Product Design Reviews with both external and internal stakeholders to contributing your Product Safety Engineering knowledge.

  • Openly provide advice to various Engineering Teams such as Project Managers, Manufacturing Engineers etc. around safety requirements and regulatory standards 

  • Work alongside the Head of Product Safety and Airworthiness on the in-house safety management system as well as training refresher sessions. 

  • Spearhead Customer Investigations for Safety and Airworthiness aspects 


What do you need to demonstrate in order for your CV to be shortlisted?



  • A minimum of 3 years experience working in a similar role within either an Aviation Engineering or Aerospace Engineering environment - your job title might be Product Safety or Systems Safety Engineer. 

  • Working knowledge of Aerospace Recommended Practice guidelines (e.g. ARP 4761 / 4754) 

  • Demonstrable experience of working with both Design and Production Engineering Teams on Product and System Safety Engineering. 

  • Ability to work in the UK as well as be able to gain SC Clearance (due to the nature of our clients product, this is a process that all staff members have to clear)
