We're pleased to be engaged by a leading heavy industrial equipment supplier, to recruit a Safety, Health and Environment Manager. The Safety, Health and Environment Manager will play a crucial role in driving success through promoting safety, health and environmental good practice.

With more than 50,000 employees and a large global footprint, the organisation take safety as it's top priority and this role will lead on health and safety across one of their main sites based in Bedfordshire.

Responsibilities for the Safety, Health and Environment Manager will include:

• To promote effective and safe practices and controls throughout the engineering workshop and yard operations at the Bedfordshire site.
• Supporting site teams to help them meet company standards and procedures
• Conduct health, safety and environmental site audits and develop subsequent improvement plans.
• Supporting on the development and improvement of the ISO management systems.

The successful Safety, Health and Environment Manager will have:

• Proven experience in a similar role within manufacturing, agricultural, heavy machinery or a related industry
• NEBOSH certificate or equivalent and ideally membership of a relevant professional body (i.e. IOSH)
• The ability to influence and engage with all levels of the organisation
• An enthusiastic and positive approach to health and safety
