As a GP consultant, you will be working in teams with some really cool staff including nurse practitioners, practice nurses, clinical pharmacists, physician associates, physiotherapists, and care navigators. You will also have the opportunity to lead a team to develop ideas in our innovation labs for a day a week.

Key Information

  • Good - CQC Rating
  • High QOF Achievers
  • 5 GPs, 4 ANP/Nurses, 3 HCAs, 2 PAs & Trainee PA.
  • PCN clinical pharmacist, physiotherapist, social prescribers, paramedic.
  • 8 Care Navigators effective at triaging calls, tasks, and correspondence
  • 15 minute face-to-face appointments
  • Sessions allocated purely for work on innovation

Regular clinic layout:

  1. 08:00-11:00 Telephone triage
  2. 11:15 - 11:30 debrief
  3. 11:30 - 12:00 break
  4. 12:00-15:00 clinic
  5. 15:00-16:50 - Admin

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • GP must hold MRCGP certification

Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975, and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.

£9,500 to £10,500 a session depending on experience
