Job Title: Sales Account Manager - ThunderbrookLocation: Homebased, South East EnglandContract: PermanentHours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per weekReporting to: Brand Manager Your roleYou will be commercially and operationally responsible for positioning Thunderbrook products in the wholesaler network, horse feed retailers and web shops that we currently serve. You will also be responsible for growing the number of retail points that sell Thunderbrook and will look for new sales-channels in the online environment to support our growth. You will support the introduction of new Thunderbrook products in our network as well as the in-store promotion of these products.Your responsibilitiesAccount managementAcquire potentially interesting retailers, e-tailers and chainsIntroduction of consumer promotions in stores and web shopsManage and maintain relationships with retailers by providing training and nutritional advice supportContribute to shows, open days/evenings, yard calls, presentations and sponsorship activitiesFollow market developments and identify trends, share relevant knowledge with the internal organizationMaintain contact with and advise horse customersMonitor budgets and provide input into our CRM-systemYour profileEssential:Degree or equivalent in a Business studies, Equine Science, Animal Science or relevant fieldSignificant relevant sales experienceExperience in account and process management especially: Experience in customer (wholesaler and retailer) retention through personal attention and tailored advice, both financially and operationally Ability to partner and advise on strategic choices that retailers makeExperience in translating on- and offline activities onto the shopfloorsProactive networker with initiative and a proven commercial approachInitiative and continuously gather new insights in the market of horse feed and horse supplements.
