Reporting to the UK Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing your own diary, organising and booking appointments to visit the premises of our existing or potential new trade partners. Their trade customers can range from a man in a van to multi-million-pound organisations with multiple locations. The ability to build rapport with a mixed variety of backgrounds is essential.
This is where you will showcase their range of available products to key decision makers highlighting the USPs and their patented points of difference. Negotiating Trade discounts, Supporting with Showroom design and sales samples. Educating trade partner employees on the use and functionality of their unique online ordering portal. Training sales people on how best to demonstrate and articulate key USPs to the end consumer. Be the product expert! Your key responsibility is to your trade customers. Assist them to grow their business which in turn will grow your sales.
From time to time, they will be showcasing products through UK trade shows and exhibitions. As part of the sales team, you would be expected to attend and support these events to build relationships with potential new trade customers in your area. You will also attend global trade shows in Asia and Europe and with factories in Australia and China as well as offices in Europe you may receive the opportunity for international travel on occasion.
