Sales Advisor

We are looking for a Sales Advisor to join a family-run business at one of their sites in Oadby.

This is a sales role based on the shopfloor but also includes developing new business over the phone.
This role is Monday-Saturday, with a day off in the week, so Saturday availability is required.
An insight to the role:
� Customer-facing, this role is based on the shopfloor, assisting customers in the shop with their enquiries and product specifications.
� In times where the shop is quiet, you will be looking at business development techniques, generating new business for external contracts.
� Speaking on the phone to customers or contractors.
� Suggesting suitable products for the customers needs.
We are looking for someone who has:
� Previous customer service or sales experience, ideally customer-facing.
� Confidence with sales calls.
� Good interpersonal skills, communicating effectively over the phone and face-to-face.
� A friendly demeanour, willing to help with customer enquiries.
Monday-Friday hours are 09:00-17:30 and Saturday hours are 09:00-17:00. Approximately 1 in 6 Saturdays you will have off by default, and the day off in the week can be discussed.
The salary for this position is �25,000.
