A new opportunity with an exciting engineering business - a client of mine are looking to recruit a Sales and Purchasing Executive. This position has come about due to an exciting expansion of the team in their Deeside office. As a Sales and Purchasing Executive, you will be flexible to a variety of tasks, from inbound calls and account management, to stock sourcing and procurement. The ideal candidate will have sales experience within an engineering environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Inbound sales: responding to customer queries, generating customer quotations, processing customer orders and arranging stock deliveries.
• Predominantly an account management based sales position, more so than business development.
• Communicating with the warehouse staff to ensure the procurement of materials required for customer orders.
• Sourcing new stock and suppliers, and negotiating with existing suppliers to ensure the most cost-effective suppliers and stock are procured for the business.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a sales role, specifically from an engineering background.
• Knowledge of purchasing and procurement is desirable.
• Knowledge of engineering products and pipes and drainage systems is desirable.
