Sales Associate

My client is a renowned refurbishing manufacturer based in Darwen. They are looking for a tenacious and proactive salesperson to take on the development side of their business. The ideal candidate will bring an established and proven set of sales skills, a determined approach to gaining new business and a resilient mindset. My client is aspiring to gain new business across the northwest with a view to expanding towards the south.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 08:30- 16:30 (30-minute break)

Responsibilities:

Generate new business and liaise with the company director to drive sales

Providing customers with product information, advice, and assistance in making purchases

Make strategic contributions to help the organisation meet its sales goals

Proactive approach to selling the products and services

Handling both incoming and outbound calls

Developing and maintaining repeat customers

Identify potential leads and approach them accordingly

Develop a reliable knowledge of products, services and inventory status

Skills Required:

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Professional in manner

A confident yet humble personality

Creative approach to determining problems and finding solutions

Ability to work on your own initiative

Enthusiasm for selling and a natural flare for people

Good IT Skills including using excel

Highly organised and enthusiastic

A team player

Qualifications Required:

Sales Experience 2 years minimum

English, Mathematics and ICT- GCSE or equivalent
