Anderson Knight is recruiting for a leading timber processing company that operates in both Ireland and the UK. This company is growing quickly and focuses on sustainability and innovation. They supply timber products for the construction, pallet wood, and fencing industries, as well as wood pellet fuel and renewable electricity. The company also makes timber frame homes and roof trusses. With locations in Ireland and Scotland, they are looking for an Internal Salesperson to join their team in Troon.

Job Description

Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager, the Internal Salesperson will be part of a team contributing to the company's continued growth and investment within the UK and Irish markets, supplying products for construction, pallet wood, and fencing.

Responsibilities

* Account management and repeat or new business selling over the phone to an established customer base.

* Collaborating closely with the sales team to meet agreed targets.

* Experience with an ERP system for order processing would be beneficial but is not essential.

* Recording all relevant market information into the CRM.

* Coordinating sales requirements with the production department.

* Resolving customer queries and issues.

* Handling general day-to-day office administration.

Skills Profile

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy selling, are achievement-oriented, and thrive on a challenge. A third-level qualification and/or a minimum of 2 years' sales experience would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Enthusiasm, energy, a desire to sell, and a passion for developing a long-term career.

* The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

* Excellent attention to detail.

* Flexibility to travel to different sites as required
