They are seeking a knowledgeable sales leader to manage and grow their established sales team, driving the company to its next level of expansion and growth! Job Description: The Director of Sales will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of experienced outside sales reps. The Director of Sales will coach the team on account tactics, oversee metrics and profitability, and forecast the pipeline of opportunities. The Director of Sales will focus their efforts on expanding relationships within existing accounts as well as creating a prospecting strategy for obtaining new business across New England with their team. Requirements: 7+ years of business development, sales, and account management experience within the food, ingredients, or foodservice space. 4+ years of management or leadership experience. This is a small company, and candidates need to be willing to wear multiple hats as necessary to fulfill their clients' needs and ensure overall account satisfaction. Location: This is an Outside Sales role covering New England with the majority of travel in MA, NH, and RI. In-office expectation is 1x/week to a North Shore, MA office.
